Focal press book reviews

Focal Press book arrived by post this morning

The good people at Focal press had sent me three books to review this morning. All three tackle the art of mixing and one is focused on pro tools 9, which is currently my favorite DAW. I will publish a review of each of these books in the coming weeks. The first book is Mixing Audio by Roey Yizhaki.

The last book I will review is a bit more technical. It is dedicated to Avid’s pro tools 9 DAW (Digital Audio workstation) and is simply called – Pro tools 9 – music production, recording, editing, and mixing by Mike Collins.

I can already tell you (and I’m totally subjective here..) that Focal press are one of the best publishers of pro audio books so I’m quite excited to get started and share my thoughts of each book. Expect the first review by the end of September.

Visit Focal Press for more information on their books.
