Hello Hibernator - The leaf world EP cover
Over the past year I have been working with Alex Jeffery (AKA Hello Hibernator), producing his songs. Jeffery writes beautiful subtle songs that I really connected to from first listen.
We worked together on a full album as part of an MA in creative practice at Goldsmiths University last year (2011). The album consisted of nine songs and was submitted as a joint project. After we finished the program of studies we decided to choose the best songs out of the ones we had and the ones which were more connected both lyrically and musically and release them as The leaf world EP. I have worked on this project as a producer, sound mixer, engineer and musician. It took a lot of hours of work to mix the EP and mold it into a piece that we are both proud to release. Jeffery is one of the best singer songwriters I’ve met and I feel privileged to have has the opportunity to work with him. Hopefully now that it has been released, it would get proper exposure and be the first of many releases by Jeffery and myself.

I know that our attention span is getting shorter and shorter in this digital age but I encourage anyone who is into good music and after musical experience to listen to the EP in it’s entire 17 minute form.
